I believe the rangers/Lincoln stuff works, as does the SN95 but the spindles and hoses will likely have to be changed, there was also a SVO kit back in the day, haven't done that swap more involved in the older Mustangs, Cougar's, Falcons... so I am going from memory of those who did.

Lincoln/svo for 87+
Ranger/Granada for 86-
Only thing is I don't remember the years that interchange
Sn95 stuff works too get spindles and all stack some washers at the ball joint and its golden reflair the brake line and you won't have to buy the line adapters.

Yea, mustang fox. Well with it being a 4cyl car, the knuckles are different from gt or v8 cars. I mean for example Gt and v8 car knuckles use a bigger brake pad and I think you can put ranger 5 lug rotor on them. Anybody crossed this bridge?
Thanks for any info.

Ranger 5 lug fit 4cyl spindle
Lincoln 5 lug fit gt spindle
Svo gt spindle
Then you can buy any of the sn95 spindle and caliper set up from local bone yard and it works great !

Lincoln Mark V/SVO spindles require a ball joint adapter http://www.maximummotorsports.com/SVO-Spindle-Adapters-C84.aspx otherwise use 87-93 V8 Mustang spindles. Don't use the Lincoln Mark V/SVO calipers unless you're using the matching rear disc brakes and master cylinder, use '87-'93 5.0L Mustang calipers/hoses. The Lincoln Mark V/SVO spindles are a pain in the ass, I had it to do over I'd go with the 94/95 spindles and brakes, sealed bearings and removable rotors. If you want big drums in the rear you can use Fairmont wagon rear brakes and re drill the drums for 5 lugs or you can use 10" brakes off a Ranger or Aerostar van. I would stay away from the Ranger rotor/4 cyl spindle swap as they are only 10" rotors.
