Re: the 2015 FORD GT
They got Dan Gurney in the GT40. They had to put a blister in the roof so his helmet would fit. The GT was 44" high. If you want one bad enough. Diet and or have the seat redone to drop you that extra 2". There is about 4"of molded foam for a seat pan.

I will promise this I WILL NEVER OWN A ECOBOOST EVER, I will go Chevy before that happens....you tell the Bosses they lost a Diehard ford man I have owned one or many for at least 50 years.... I raced fords when they weren't Cool cuz I was Die hard Now I just DGAF about fords new program
Coug....if you run out of 7.3s for your truck you could just incert a 427 side oiler in the deal.

got my Boss 9 and I know where there is a couple 427 cammers I could lay my hands on if need be,,,I have many BBF strokers here if need be to replace the 7.3 but more than likely I will just rebuild the one in the truck when the time comes....

3.5L twin-turbo V6 EcoBoost engine. The specifications for the World Endurance Championship's LM GTE class give turbo engines a maximum 4.0L displacement. Coincidence? I think not.

Re: the 2015 FORD GT
Maybe they should offer a Twin turbo V8 option as a GT version of the GT. V6 base model, and the GT GT version a V8.
It does sound like ass. Maybe they could also put some speakers inside the center of those circular taillights to blast out some V8 noises.

Dents on a golf ball make it fly better, and everyone knows a glide is a race trans, still no hit.richter69 wrote:schmitty wrote:Nobody said you get a hit on your rig. Re: the 2015 FORD GT
Probably do not want to get azz handed from the older models, but the older ones were awesome, a blown 5.4 is a pretty capable beast in the right hands with the right adjustments. If the Blue Oval is willing to stick a six shooter in it I have to believe enough as a die hard fan that it will rock and roll all night. I hope I am not embarrassed by there choice but it should embarrass them more then me...in theory...oh and by the way doesn't Chip G wear a bowtie...FU&

Re: the 2015 FORD GT
Granted, it doesn't sound that cool at idle and you can hear those turbo's spooling , but that engine does have some big balls and I would be willing to bet it sounds bad azz winding up through all 7 gears .

True, but it has a $64,965 msrp and with 6.5% sales tax it would come to $69,187.73 + doc, license etc.. Ford says it's a $70,000 pick up. Not to mention the other options that are required to make it a real work truck. Fuel tank, gooseneck hitch, air bags, ladder rack, tool box, jotto desk, bed mat, radar detector.
Don't get me wrong, I like the truck, I just think it stinks that the government has mandated that I be stuck on the side of the road if there is a piss malfunction. Something that has nothing to do with the drivability of the vehicle.
