Cool. When I was a kid I had an uncle that used to ice race his sled. I do recall helping put in a lot of those screws one night.

How long does it take to get the run temps up...and what temp are you running it at?

I burn more gas warming it up than racing... It's 1/8 mile. Usually about 30 minutes to get the oil pan up to 140 if I don't use the pan heater... It was almost 30 this last Saturday so that was pretty warm for this time of year... I like to put the truck on jack stands and run it through the gears at fast idle to get the gear and trans oil moving around also.... It's a necessary evil

That's some crazy stuff. I'd love to see the pics of the screws. Just seems crazy as hell but probably normal for the guys up north.

This has to be the coolest thing as far as winter racing goes. I had never even heard of this before until you posted on Facebook. Pretty cool Cody!

I think I would lose my mind lol.  Do you do all four tires?  A buddy of mine years back did a set of dirtbike tires from the outside with TEK screws for prowling the streets at night in the snow

Just the rears get the drywall screws.. The fronts get about a hundred hex head sheet metal screws each with the heads exposed. Just enough for a little control and stopping my tank

This is one of the most incredible racing feats I have ever seen on a video camera! Damn I want to come and watch, I bet that is just as great a time as it is in the summer time.... Wow
