Your original statement "looked" like you were asking about changing lobe seperation ( on the cam lobes)from 112 down to 108 and that would be a mistake in everyone's eyes . Now it seems you are only asking about the amount of advance to run on a 114*lsa cam. "To me" the amount of advance that is correct for your application is what ever makes the lowest ET without hurting the MPH. 6*s advance is on the extreme side ( most often it's 2-4) BUT if your car combination likes it that is what you need to run. Just watch intake piston to valve clearance as it will be less by around .028-.030. 69F100 is right , that much advance could make so much bottom end power the track can't handle it.

No, I wasn't talking about changing lsa which I don't think can be done. I ment IC.
