I believe Kaase placed well with a Pontiac once. Was that a win?

Re: question about engine masters
The Pontiac finished 2nd to the big block Chevrolet of Leonardt Berquist the year of the 509 and the Pontiac finished 2nd again to the Cleveland Ford of Tony Bischof the year of the 434 engines.maverick wrote:I believe Kaase placed well with a Pontiac once. Was that a win?
All Kasse's 5 wins were with a Ford and Bischof won twice with a Ford.
Big Block 385 Ford; once
Cleveland or "M" Ford; 4 times
Windsor SC1 headed Ford ; once
Big block Chevrolet; once
Small block Chevrolet; twice
LS Chevrolet; once
Gen III Hemi; three times
Mod Motor; once
SB2 Chevrolet; once

Didn't Kasse win with a big block Chevy with Reher-morrison heads?

Not that I remember, he did have a BBC a few years back with some wild ass machine work, but it didn't win.

No ... B.E.S. finished first with their SC1 headed Windsor that year; Kasse was second. Another SC1 headed Windsor was third.
I am NOT simply guessing with what I posted earlier.

Ok I found it, he had a 2nd in extreme street to SAM in 2012. He used Raptor heads.

YES ... Kasse's 2nd place Chevrolet was 537 CID and made in the neighborhood of 1,130 horsepower in the "Extreme Street" class.
I got the "Extreme" years, (and the Chevrolets), mixed. SAM finished second to the SC1 Windsor in the 2011 contest when Kaase made 1182 horsepower with his "Extreme Street" 604 Boss Hemi...

12* big block Chevy heads made by Reher-morrison. Sounds like they are on the same level as the Profiler head for Chevys.
