brake booster
I'm almost finished with the truck and need to decide on using the brake booster or not. It's a typical hp build all the way through but this is the first time having power brakes with a performance motor so I just wanted to get some input from you guys.

Re: brake booster
Biggest question would be whether your performance engine generates enough vacuum to operate the booster efficiently. If yes, and the booster causes no clearance issues, I'd do it. Worst case, if you're running a lot of cam (low vacuum) you might need an electric pump for the booster....or you may be happy with the manual brakes if they're good ones.
A fast hotrod is more fun if you can stop it.

brake booster
well it does have a fairly wild cam: 222/232 @.50" .536/.540 lift with 108 LSA. I have not hooked up a vac. gauge yet so I'm not sure there.

You should have plenty of vacuum with that cam. Pretty mild for a Big Block Ford.
