I finally fired my 460..
I finally finished my engine run stand and fired my 460 tonight. It has an unknown solid roller cam. tfs street heads, tfs track heat intake converted to efi (from TEA), Holley HPefi with a 58 tooth crank trigger, Price Motorsports cam sensor, 48 lb injectors, LS ignition coils.
Check out that 1/4" thick starter plate from KFM.
It starts loading up in the 1-4 side after about 30 seconds but I have done ZERO tuning. This was just the second start.

Who is TEA?
TEA is Total Engine Airflow. They are part of the TrickFlow/Summit companies and are located in the back corner of Trick Flow. They were the only people I could find that would machine the injector holes for a reasonable price and actually had experience doing it. There is other companies out there that do conversions but the prices are pretty expensive.

I had a MSD crank trigger setup but with the larger Innovators balancer leaves no room. IW has their own bracket system but it still wouldn't fit the correct Hall effect sensor so fab work would have been needed regardless.
So I made a new mount for the Holley sensor from some 3/8" alum angle. I used the bottom mounting hole for the MSD bracket and drilled the second hole where the slot is. It is non adjustable but that is what I was after anyways.

That's an awesome build Jason. I really like the fuel injection part! Sounds good too. Are you gonna dyno this engine or just let it eat?

I need to learn the Holley system and get it running properly before putting it in my 56. Then maybe I will do a chassis dyno, depends on funds. The car doesn't have any cage as it is just a street car so it is not really a big deal at this time. Driveability is.

Another view of the crank trigger.
I also seem to have a clearance problem I will need to deal with.

Well crap! That answers that question about the crank trigger. I was hopping to mount the trigger wheel on the back side of the balancer.
I am running same serp belt setup but with full compliment with AC and power steering. Will just have to space everything out the thickness of the trigger wheel.

Is yours an internally balanced unit? If so you can slice the spacer in half. cut out 1/8" and sandwich the wheel in between the 2 halfs.

Do you have a picture of your accessories? I need to make something as billet specialties is a bit out of my price range.

Yeah I have seen Danny's mount before. And seeing the underside pic there looks like tons of room to mount the trigger wheel to back of balancer. Most balancers have dual bolt patterns in the hub. I thought of using the unused holes to mount trigger wheel. I am running external balance. My plan is/was to use a Kasse Timing pointer in the stock location and an Innovators West crank trigger sensor mount on the driver's side. I will have to modify the mount to use an LS crank sensor. If I find the radiator hose interferes too much I will have to change to an IW's combination timing pointer and sensor mount on passenger side.
Either way the sensor is going to have to be in the bottom half to the trigger wheel. I need to get off my lazy butt and mount a block to a stand so I can mock everything up.

I don't have any specific pic, but I may have some random pics that may help you.
Check this album:

Also check Trent's pages he may have some that will help.

To duplicate the factory may prove futile. Hunt the salvage and pull a part yards for F or E 350s. The E350s have the nicer Saginaw power steering pumps. I will keep my ear to the ground for you. If I come across a set I will let you know.

I will probably just build something. I will need different stages as I add the A/C later.
