Trickflow 83cc A heads. 4.3 stroke with a 4.640 bore. Flattop about 13.1 cam is 285 -304@.50 .865/.839 on a 114 or 115 single fogger 500 shot with eldebrock progressive. And a grid controller

That engine should get there without the nitrous if the rest of the car is up to it.
Re: my new combo
Well I feel like the motor should run with the nos converter and cam 5.80 to 5.60 on the motor. And it may run faster than that. I guess I will see soon

Re: my new combo
Our set up is a little different then yours and we did some testing on a fresh motor. It is a little bigger and is c-headed in a ss 98 mustang with a turbo 400 @ 3200 lbs.
On the motor with the nos converter we ran 6.12 @124 and change, this on drag radials.
We ran 5.00 flat with a 420 shot (fogger) @ 145 and change with a 1.31 60. We know that the 60's are slow, but we wanted to get down the track. With the same set up and improving the 60' times we feel that we should be in the 4.80s, on drag radials.
It was haulin the mail after 60'. Kinda looked like a turbo car out of the gate.

Larry let me know when you get it finished and when you go to the track for TNT maybe it will be where I can run over that night might even bring the Ranger if I get off my rear and order a new set of springs for it.

Same motor, new rods, pistons, lowered the compression, changed the camshaft.
Our best last year was a 4.96 at 143 on the same tune up with a 1.21 on 275 x 60 15 drag radials.
