You made a good choice in picking out a "car girl" When I met my wife she was driving a 67 chevy rs/ss w/350 and a 4spd muncie. That was a good start, we have now been married 27 years, and she puts up with the fact that I use the whole 3 car garage for my hot rod stuff. Let her do what she wants with the inside of the house just tell her the garage is yours!

shes fine with that but Ive got dish network, 36" TV, fridge, heater, pullout couch and a grill just in case she ever kicks me out. Shes always joked Id be happier living in the shop

We've lived together for about 3yrs now and have dated about 5. Ive built two trucks from the ground up during that time so if she didnt somewhat enjoy cars/trucks and racing I dont think we would have made it this far.

Id imagine its pretty rare to actually find a decent hard working girl these days....especially when you are ugly like me. This makes our "how we met" story even more funny. I stumbled out of a bar and across the parking lot....she almost ran me over and felt bad. The rest is history I guess.

LOL my fiancee still has one from an ex of hers.. i'd love to part with it and pocket the money.
Every so often when she's in one of her moods i love to bring it up.

On a side note...make sure you get the ring sized correctly BEFORE you give it to her. steal one that she wears to use as a guide if you have to.. They really like to show the rock off when they get it rather than having to wait to have it resized. At least thats what she told me.

my wifes motto is,
as long as we can pay our bills, she doesnt care what i spend in the shop.
she likes cars also.
