One piece oil pan gasket

Looking at the one piece oil pan gaskets that are available. Any real differences in the Ford, Milodon, or Fel Pro? Summit lists 6 different ones. I have always used the steel core with rubber Fel Pro's for other stuff. Any reason not to continue the same with the big block?

I used the fel-pro one piece oil pan gasket and it leaked like hell, glad it did because when I pulled the engine to change it I found that I had a cam bearing that had spun out of the block, hurt the cam, one lifter and had to have the block fixed cam tunnel like honed, all better now

Thanks for the headsup. I will have to make that decision soon. I have a Ford and Felpro (4 total) in both styles. I am using a "smooth rail" truck pan if that is different than what you used. The one piece is "supposed" to be compatible.

I used ther Ford Racing gasket on a c9ve block with stock oil pan and worked great, took maybe 60 seconds to drill out the smaller front bolt holes with a uni-bit. ( worked better than regular drill bit)
