Mine must be from one of those early engines. No chamfer on the rod at all. Obvious raised material around the bolt where it comes out of the rod. I can't push the wave lock bolts out without ruining the rods , so my rod guy put a chamfer on the cap and it works fine. I hope they will be ok for my style of use.

Well not replace, resurface. Slowed the cam closing ramp down and quit beating the valve to death in 10 passes. Now they just need a new seal surface sooo hopping to get about 200 or so passes out of them.
Really just want to get onto the 630 cu in project and let this nightmare become other project parts.
