oil pressure
Hi all trying to finish engine build and checking oil pressure with a drill im at 120psi and fluctuating,this is with 30 w breakin oil. its a kaase pump that I've enlarged the inlet and outlet. Have I caused this with my mods or do I have another problem?

Sounds like the by-pass is stuck closed; sure could be something else, though.

Thanks Randy, I have checked the relief and appears to be free.

W0W,thats a bunch,average w/drill is about 70psi.At least that's what most of my builds have been.

Oil pressure
My 52 Vicky runs 90 (Top of range for guage) cold and 75 at idle hot..............Has always ran the same since new...I thought that was kinda high but I've had no problems.....It does have a HP pump.............

Yes engine is in and running, it has 100psi cold and 30-40 psi hot @ about 1200 rpm

I would say it's the straight weight oil you are running. I would not rev it up when it is cold.
