Need header information
I am getting ready to update my 52 Vicky................It has stock 429 exhaust manifold and I want to find a set of headers that will work for it............The main problem is with the steering box... I had to massage the stock manifolds to clear it....Any help appreciated..........

Re: Need header information
If you had to massage a manifold setup, this thing sounds like a candidate for custom headers.

That's what I was afraid of....................would be easier if I could fit a set that just needed to be worked a little...

Re: Need header information
I guess that's an option...after searching to find the easiest set to modify, then cutting, rerouting, welding, painting or coating...provided you're not too fussy about the appearance.

Headers
Was thinking more along the line of these...............they look like I could snake a pipe around the steering...Car is floor shift and cable kick down....

Re: Need header information
Check Sanderson headers, they have a lot of shorty compact headers available. Check a set for an early F-100 with a 429/460. Hope this helps.
