Mustang II Drop Spindle
On a drop spindle for a Mustang II do the tie rod arms stay in the same stock location or are they also changed?

If I remember correctly they are in the stock location.
To be sure I would call Rod & Custom at 1-800-525-0091

Re: Mustang II Drop Spindle
Most all of the generic aftermarket MII drop spindles (for OEM brakes) have the upper ball joint pad, the lower ball joint pad, and the tie rod pad all in the same relation/position to each other as the OEM spindles do. So the drop spindles usually have the same bump-steer profile as the stock spindles. The main differences between an OEM & drop spindle (other than the moved spindle pin) is usually how the OEM brake caliper mount is positioned on the spindle. The drop spindles usually have the OEM caliper mounts rotated backward X degrees from stock. This is because the big caliper mounting bolt/bolt hole would be occupying the same general area as the beefy part of the top ball joint pad on the drop spindle (making the ball joint pad weaker) if they didn't rotate the caliper mounts backward on the drop spindles.
