Holley gen 3 dominators

anyone on here got any feed back on these , thinking about buying one , sold the carb I was using .
gen3 looks cool for sure , but I want some real world feed back .

If they resolved the metering plate issue you'll be happy. The first run had problems with fuel delivery.

I'm running a 1250 on my 552ci. Out of the box, the air bleeds made the intermediate circuit come in way to soon. Fat as all hell. This resulted in terrible cruisability and trouble coming out of the burnout box in cleaning it up. The cure I did was to remove the intermediate air bleeds (making them full lean and come it as late as possible) and replace the idle circuit air bleeds with the ones from the intermediate circuit. This greatly leans up those 2 circuits. This fixed it for my como big time. Crisp now on the hit and cruises fine. I'm sure I could buy air bleeds and dial it in better if I wanted. FWIW

We have a 1475 that we've run on our pulling truck. Works flawless, best out of the box carb ive ever bought.

I have heard of fuel delivery problems with the gen 3 , something to do with the metering blocks l, probably going to get another quick fuel
