Front sub frame, 69 Mustang
I have a client looking for front sub-frame ideas that have been used on a 69/70 style Mustang. He wants me to show him pictures of cars that have been rebuilt from firewall forward, either kits or "from scratch creations". Tubes will go through firewall to tie into 6 point cage.

The only one I know of that doesn't require alot of work is the one from Fatman fab. It is a complete front suspension replacement. It is a strut type kit. Total cost has a strut kit but uses the factory mounting points. Hope this helps.

Thank you gentlemen, that's what I am looking for. I'd also like to see some home built tube creations.

I've been searching for the pictures. I seem to recall seeing them quit awhile back.

Re: Front sub frame, 69 Mustang
Looks like we will be going with a Heidts Pro g v2. This is a coil over system with Mustang II cross member. Thing is, Heidts doesn't have motor mounts for a 460 block/Mustang II frame. This car is a street car with a few trips to the drag strip, so, if I have to custom build motor mounts should it use a motor plate or OEM motor mount location.
What about headers to fit the Mustang II/460/ R&P steering set up?

I went with the AJE kit and engine plate. A set of hooker super comps 2" for a fox body worked on mine except for two tubes near the steering shaft had to be changed.

I recently installed AJE's K-member in my 1970. 70FB seems to have travelled down the road that I am on; therefor, I am checking out his work. Currently I am seeking Hooker super comps for this set-up. I am building a 521 with SCJ heads.
