My new shop
As some know, Dee and I sold our old home and bought a newer , smaller home, a little ways out of the city...
As the home didn't have a shop for all my toys, I had to build one... 30x50, insulated with heat and AC.
While I'm not done "moving things around" , here are some pics....
The "Big Daddy's" sign is from bar that Dad was part owner of back in the mid-60's...

Gentlemen.. you too Dave...
No need to expand, the projects you see are it.. no more..
Unlike Dave, who collects projects faster then he collects bacon at a breakfast buffet...
There is a plan for a lift. The power connection is under the hubcap on the beam , near the Capri..
What I didn't get a pic of is the "bar area" with the refridge and microwave...

Make sure to leave enough room for a cot so when Dee puts you in the dog house you got a place to lay your head down. looks great like Lee said never enough room but sometimes we just have to be happy with what ever room we have. It does look like you got more room to work on a ride than what you did have.

Re: My new shop
Mine currently is a 30x40. My next one I hope to be 40x60 maybe. If you don't mind, what kind of cost would I be looking at?
My block, concrete floor and backfill for the 30x40 was around $7000. Then 9' stud walls on top of the 1 block high floor.
Materials wise ended up around 18,000$ but I have installed insulation, Sheetrock and paint since then.
Jus curious.
