engine mount bracket

I've been searching around for 80-96 f250 engine mount brackets with no luck. I've looked at LMC the dealership and every big scrap yard around and nothing. its like there isn't any in Canada. Is there somewhere to buy new or a suggestion where to look.

Just get a set of 351 adaptor mounts and chain the engine down on the torque side. They will hold up for awhile.

I would like to get factory stuff mainly because you cant get anything from Canada but I guess I'll go with L&L or south coast I think were the other ones I was looking at. I was going to get this kit from ebay but buddy won't email me back

I don't know that much about the 80's-90's trucks but I do know the 70's big block factory mounts and pearchs where/are hard to get and pricey. That is why I went with the conversion mount's for a $100.00 dollars back then. Wish I could help you more.

Those adapter plates are scarce as hen's teeth. I don't know why I guess everyone just tossed them not thinking about factory availability later on. Someone was making billet plates at one time, but I recently checked and he is no longer making them.

Best option for you is the Autofab mounts. They use a replaceable poly bushing. Should be easy to get shipped to Canada and anyone can make replacement bushings if ever needed. Autofab makes some of the toughest parts that are actually competition tested and proven.

So you need more than just the mounts to swap a 460 into a 80-96 F series truck? I have a 1987 f-350 I plan to pull the 6.9 diesel and swap in a 460 this summer. I figured since the 460 was offered in for my truck it would be a simple deal. Am I wrong?

$390 is over $650 by the timeI get them here... I would like to no the same as you Jess if the diesel engine mounts would work I am going to get a parts truck for my 92 diesel for $400 Canadian would be nice to kill two birds with one stone. I was told the blocks were similar.

Diesel perches are different too. I will probably end up buying the ones that Jeff's Bronco Graveyard sells.

Those perchs are the same as small block and the mounts are swap mounts? I would just need those mounts?
