Personally, if I was in your shoes, I would get a better "custom ground" Flat tappet, Solid lifter cam with the correct EDM lifters to be a better fit with your converter and what you wish to do.
Spend the effort to change valve springs to break-it-in right and move forward from there.
THAT is the most "Bang for the Buck", given your present combination.

Just to give you an example of what you can get. I have a 467 with custom Diamond pistons with a 10cc dome, GRP rods, 429 truck crank offset ground to 2.200 rods and 3.85 stroke. A429 heads that don't match your flow numbers on intake. .728lift with 270-276 duration roller on a 110 centerline. Mafia intake with a Rons Terminator. Glide with 4.10 gears and 2940lb car with me and the car has been 5.69 in 1/8 and 8.95 in the 1/4 @ 151.23mph. Heads are certainly not the best flowbench queens but they make big hp when the combo is right. Converter is not right as evidence of a 1.43 short time. Mine is 1.26-1.28. Just some food for thought.

My 60ft times are fudged and misleading. The car had SSM bars, NO ARB, stock V8 rear springs and SA strange shocks last summer. It hit the tires really hard and bounced. That's why I bought all the new rear suspension stuff to see if we can get it to leave better. My car weighed 3022lbs last summer with me in it. Watch the video and you will see awkward it was. Most runs it goes 106-108mph in the 1/8th and I'm just shifting to 3rd right before the 1/8th mile marker.
