I imagine that would rattle a few windows - and sound cool too.

The problem with that is, making a blast down the road, only to have a big ass deer run out in front of you!!

But back on topic.  Is this done only as a fix for a damaged block, or does it actually add strength over the factory deal?   Mine is still in the box.  

doesn't add any strength , but when you burn a piston up bad and hurt the cylinder wall you can change that sleeve without distorting the cylinders beside it.

and the New Monte Smith Cam , the car sounds like an animal yet will idle in gear at 900 rpm and rpms fast in the transbrake!

yeap !He Designed the cam for this ol' heap and we took his advice on the tuneups on the kits, 3000 pph of nitrous is a bunch!
