Randy hooked me up with a buddy of his with an 83 Mustang GT. I drug it home today and also picked up an 8.8, 3.90 gears and an install kit.

The wet pics make the paint look pretty good. It is really faded. Interior needs work, but that stuff is available.

Kind of off topic but I am looking for an air cleaner like that for my truck build. Any one got one or know where to get one?

Travis I have took 2 air cleaners and took a neck off one and cut a hole in the other riveted the neck on to make one like that and ran the hoses to the grill to make like a ramp air and i could tell a different when going down the road and gassing it just something you might want to try if you can't find 1

James,

That looks like a clean car,i bet that might even be the original tailpipes on it.If you plan on putting a 460 in it are you going to put a roll bar in it?If not you better put some good sub frame connectors on it,how does the 5.0 in it run?

Later Mark.

Anyone looking for a 1984 Capri Convert wanna be 5.0.. It's a orignal 3.8 c-4 car that I converted to 1988 v8 GT. Has 1988 dash.. Including the wiring from front to back. The Top works pefect. I modded the AOD tranny with 4rw70 parts from a 2005 Truck. Has a Supercoupe Converter 3K stall rpm.. The car is Smog legal.. Asking $1200 obo The trans is worth the car.. Clear title

Yes. The plan is a big motor, connectors, 6 or 8 point bar, 5 lug conversion.

I saw you had some pics of your subframe connectors. Could you send them to me?

Thanks!
