Forward clutch plates
Tore up the forward clutch in the C-6 last weekend. Ordered some new Alto Reds, gaskets, and seals, etc.
However, goin thru my junk last nite I found what look to be "semi-metallic" clutch frictions. The color is dark gray with specs of, what appears to be metal, embedded in 'em.
anyone have any experience with these ? I'm not even sure where they came from, or who made 'em.
thankx, eh.

Re: Forward clutch plates
Sounds like old Ford factory frictions to me. I think when they went to Dextron they started using them.
