Post your trees
Until a few days ago I was not in the Christmas spirit at all due to the events of this past year. BUT I am actually looking forward to Christmas now and even went and bought my first Christmas tree as a home owner. Most of the ornaments are my girlfriends, we bought a few together but most are hers.
Anyways heres mine:
Post yours up.

Re: Post your trees
Oh how i rue our "family tradition" of the cut down the christmas tree.
Drive around till its dark, end up where we probably shouldnt be, fire up the stihl and stop for GD pictures, cut down the tree, more pics, carry it to the truck as the wife takes pics, then get back in the truck and have to hold the camera and get a pic of the 2 of us......"make sure we're centered"
LOL i'm starting to get angry just thinking about it
It hasnt happened yet this year, and i'm not looking forward to it.
Last year i had to modify what the store sold as a "stand" after the tree fell 3 times. Now at least it works.
got the chain sharpened so i can fire up the saw and cut and get out of dodge incase it ends up being private property. So many mining stakes you dont know where you can go and where you cant half the time.
this will be our 3rd christmas together, frenchie and i, maybe next year i'll buy one of those fancy trees you take out of a box.

Buy the fake tree. 20 bucks at walmart. 10 dollars in lights and decor. Went to the store, got home, set it up and finished in 45 minutes and didnt freeze me arse off looking for that "perfect" tree outside. BUMP THAT!

Re: Post your trees
I picked up an oak limb, shoved it in a 1/2gal Crown bottle, grabbed a string of half lit lights and shoved some beer cans on the branches for the shop. Me and the dog have our stockings out there too. Lauren has put the tree up in the house but I dont have any pictures. Ill take some of both tonight and post them up.

Re: Post your trees
I tired to get a good pic of our tree, but it's a little difficult getting all 12' of it in 1 shot! We usually go out to a friends tree farm and pick up a fresh tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The wife looks for the 6-8' trees, but I can't see putting a normal tree in a room with 14' ceilings.
