Steering linkage interchange
I have a '76 F150 and it needs a pitman arm, possibly other parts. So far, my local parts stores don't even have a available part. Jeff"s Bronco Graveyard does, but it got me thinking. Would the '78-'79 crossover steering bolt on? I believe its more readily available, and maybe a better system than the Y setup or whatever its called on the '76.
It seems to me if the pitman/draglink/tierod were all used, it may work. I haven't dug into it yet, just seeing if anyone has tried.
