help with 604ci engine build Boss 429 buddy bar manifold fuel distribution etc etc...

Hi All..
        helping a friend with this build anyway some problems we face we don't have the lid for the above manifold only the base. If we can't find one, which is highly likely, we will try to cast or fabricate a lid.  He wants to run a single Dominator carb.  Our main worry is fuel distribution problems which is supposedly a problem with this manifold design.  If we fab one would the above bathtub lid design be the way to go???? are we asking for trouble running this manifold in a street/strip 700 to 750hp ish build..with maybe a 200hp shot of nos from time to time.. Any thoughts??

If you fog the nitrous on each runner that should not be a problem. Might end up doing some cross jetting on the Holley like on the L-88 deals. Will it all be a pain in the ass, yep I would think so.

I'd build an Efi system with individual injectors in each port, it will solve the issues that manifokd has

^^^^^^ That would be the best bet or run the dual quads as intended. They would likely have to be custom large cfm units for that many cubes.

The dual quads are marginal at best, autolite inlines are probably the best if you have to have carbs, but the price tag is stupid.

You'd be miles ahead to just run a modern intake.

If you want Quads something like this is what I would do or get one of the 429 Boss Single Dominator intakes as mentioned above.
