anyone try B & M Trick Type F fluid in their C6? any thoughts?

I ran it back in the 90s when I raced my 69 Mustang with a FMX trans it worked great in it never had a problem with the trans but it ran 8s in the 1/8

I think all of them are pretty good .If you have the extra $$$ spending it on a better quality trans. fluid is cool but using type f works for me .Last year I did a tear down of my c6 before installing a transbrake .My clutches looked like new! This is in a drag car 6000 rpm shifts and five years running .I changed my fluid every two years .Valvoline type f. That ATI fluid is supposed to be really good .I used to use TCIs racing trans fluid .It got to expensive and hard to find .Just make sure to have a good cooler on your transmission .That is probably more important than the fluid you use . afro

900 -1,500HP - Recommended Fluids

Racing Fluid (B & M or TCI)
Ford- Type F
50/50 Mix of Dexron 3/Mercon and Ford – Type F



1,500HP and up - Recommended Fluids

Specialty Racing Fluid
Racing Fluid (B&M or TCI)
Hydraulic Oil (10W-20 or 30 Weight)


FWIW,....
I run a 50/50 mix of Dextron & Type F in mine. Engine makes close to 1000.
