It likely is but, pinpointing it is the pain in the ass part and sometimes expensive part.

A couple basic checks I would do in addition to the above, are; make sure the ignition wires are twisted from the box to the distributor as they will be less prone to arc (loom helps too), OHM the plug wires and check for connection, run it it the dark and look for crossfires, check temps at headers, make sure FT is functioning manually, run the valves again. The FT fuel pressure needs to be verified(^^^). Finally have the heads been milled and are the push rod length correct.GL
