D3V3 A2A Heads, Which intake gasket? Empty D3V3 A2A Heads, Which intake gasket?

Post  75truck October 8th 2017, 12:23 am

I have D3VE A2A heads on a 429.

I have measured the beginning of the intake runner at 1.875 x 2.10.

I think I would prefer not using a print-o-seal intake gasket but rather use a composite one.

With this dimension I am not finding a gasket with this post size listed.

Any suggestions of what number I should be looking at?

It could depend on the intake manifold...which is?

D3V3 A2A Heads, Which intake gasket? Empty Manifold is ...........

The manifold is a Edelbrock 460 Performer. Uncut with no porting on heads or manifold.

The Intake runner dimensions are approx 1.75 x 1.975

The crushed old gasket id is approx 2 x 2.3

Just get a Mr Gasket or SCE set for the standard passenger car port if you don't want the printo seal deal.

YES ...
and Victor Reinz offers a graphite intake gasket for the regular 460 applications.

Yes exactly right, that is the small port gasket I use..

Another very good Gasket is the Blue Felpro that looks like the blue style head gaskets , they are not the printoseals
