There is no production date that Charlie or I are aware of...there will be a guy from tfs at the tech deal this weekend...if there is news we will pass it along .
The manifold is a CJ/SCJ/4500 unit . Price is unknown at this point .

on his website the ported Victor is a FRPP casting. It looks like he takes one off the shelf and ports it.

both are FRPP - or rather Ford Motorsports intakes.

If you notice they are both $319 but the first link says "Full Portwork - Add $450.00 Each"


I take this as he will port your $319 intake for an additonal $450 not that he has a special casting ported "as cast" for $769

I may be wrong though.

I have seen two of Kasse's ported intakes and seen both on the dyno. It is about what Charlie and I do to the Victor. The TFS manifold has some design features that the Victor doesn't in the runners. Charlie enhanced and improved those features. Plus starting with a true 4150 plenum design it gave him more to work with making it into a good efficient 4500 plenum.

I feel the Victor will have to have a TOTAL redesign to meet or beat the TFS.

Thank you Blake! Cool Now then,,,, if everybody will please take a chill pill and relax and wait until they get the intake manifold made, we be all good. Very Happy As Lem said, TFS is bringing the prtotype/model manifold to the Winter Tech Seminar, and as we learn more, we'll post more.

What size engine / cylinder heads would be too small for this intake?


PS. I am wondering if I should wait for this intake to become available before I purchase a 4500 intake for my 528?

Josh ,

The cross sectional area hasn't changed that much, I would venture to say it will work anywhere a victor or the original track heat intake would work. It is just more efficient at moving air now.

I know it's been asked before, but I figure I'll smack this horse a little. Is this, possibly, going to be a $450 plus intake. I'm just saying Lems deal on Victors is going to be hard to pass up on if the new intake is going to be pretty pricey.

I doubt it will be cheaper than there old one and it's higher than the Victor. But it makes more power. Just depends on you as to what you need.

A bare Victor is relatively inexpensive as far as intakes go, but it takes a lot of time or money to properly set one up to be competitive with what this new intake is capable of, so one must take that into account. Cool

A Victor 4500 may be only around $300 but if you pay to get it fully ported you can add another $250-$300 on top. So you now have $600 invested, so depending on what the new intake costs, it will most likely be a much better deal for the people or engines that can or want to use it.

Lem when can I get on the list for one of these if you have even started a list yet bounce LOL.
