SCJ Head Rockers
Are the Harland Sharp 4073 rocker arms still the best choice for SCJ heads?

I think it comes down to preference. HS is inexpensive, Jessels are very expensive....yet both of them will work.

I need to buy rockers for both intake and exhaust. Are the 4073 rockers better for intake or exhaust geometry?
I have had a set of 4005 rocker arms on a 521 with SCJ heads for years. At the time I put that one together, I don't remember Harland Sharp having the 4073 Rockers.

They are certainly the best Harland Sharp rocker to use.
Re: SCJ Head Rockers
Don't really know why, but it looks like I have pretty much decided to use either the Harland Sharp aluminum S-4073 or the Comp Cams Ultra Pro Magnum XD steel 1830-16 steel rockers. The prices are a wash. Anyone have a reason to choose one over the other?

Now they are telling me the HS 4073 rocker arms are on backorder with no in stock date available. Guess I may have to go another route.

The Lunati "VooDoo" rockers are a good choice for those heads, also.

I run the Comp XD Pros (1830-16). I switched from the older FRPP blue rockers, which were the same as the Crane Golds. I had to tweak the pushrod length a little to get the geometry correct when switching to the Comps.

Got an email from Jeg's today saying the HS rockers would ship Monday or Tuesday. Guess I'll see what happens.
