Hello all. Have a Edelbrock 130gph mechanical fuel pump in my boss 545 with -8an supply line from tank to carb. It's 11:1 compression with original ported boss heads. I'm swapping to a solid roller and possibly a nx gemini kit under my sv1. I also have a Carter 172gph pump on the shelf. Will either of these be enough? I drive it on the street and drag it... Thanks in advance.... Joe

I'd like to know too.i haven't pulled the trigger yet on a Clay Smith Cams fuel pump yet

I was looking at the aeromotive 340 drop in tank/pump setup. It says it's rated for 1000hp n/a... It's pricey though... A lot cheaper than an engine teardown I suppose

Mechanical fuel pumps will always pump more pressure and flow for any give physical size, just not the simple diaphragm pumps ... 50 gallons per MINUTE capability sure is enough.

Camshaft driven or belt driven fuel pumps are what race vehicles with magnetos, which have no electrical system, use readily for major fuel delivery amounts.
