2001 F150 4X4

Motors going south in one of my pickups ! who else thinks a 5.4L to 572 C460 headed motor with a C6 would be a fun sleeper truck?

A customer of mine has a 604 with A429 heads in his trailer towing duelly ... he put 5.0 tags on the fenders with "this side only" scripted under them.

Hmmm, I dont know...with as many toys as you already have, this would just take time and money away from those.
Just my opinion of course, but it would just be more sensible to fix the problem, either rebuild the motor, or get a replacement, and just re-install......no cutting, hacking, fabricating anything. It just bolts back in and everything hooks up and you're good to go!!

Sure BBFtorino but what fun would that be !!! I can lift the cab off in under 3 hours , have the 5.4L and trans out in another 2 hour and have BBF and C6 sitting in there in probaby 5- 8 hours and that's making an adapter for the C6 to the transfer case , 2 hours to bolt the cab back down ! If I was to start @ 8am I'd be road testing it with drink in hand by 9 pm the same day !!

3 Classes ! Top Sportsman , Pro Mod and Nostalgia Funnycar ! And I'm going to run them all until their tongues hang out !!!swap motors out and do it all over again ! Rebuild and repeat!! and when I need cash go back Gold mining for a month or 2 and repeat!!
