Reuse New Rear Main Seal?

Installed in new engine while on stand. Engine was disassembled while still on stand. Obviously never run.
I know they're cheap but just curious if you could (or would) reinstall in another engine.

You could and at a dealership we do reuse some gaskets, especially when not run. That being said how bad is it to pull the engine or trans if you nick it on accident and dont realize

yes, it's still new. Run it.

When I check my main bearings I all ways use the same rear seal unless I damage it or put new bearings in. So it being new I run it if it didn't get any damage to it

I have a cometic I’ve had apart 2 times and it hasn’t leaked yet. Run it!

Thanks guys, gonna run it. Put my sight magnification devices on and inspected the two crescents and they still look new--as they should.
