Looking to buy a set of early set A429 CJ heads that are not trashed. The ones with the SCJ script on the front

These are the heads that have Super Cobra Jet on the ends..... you  may have to have new notches cut in your pistons depending on what you now have.
Will take $1400.00 +  shipping for the pair. If you are between Knoxville, TN and Rockford, IL or Knoxville, TN and Minneapolis, MN I can meet you as I will be making those trips in the next couple of weeks. Rick

Correct me if I'm wrong but the early A429 CJ heads still had the "regular" or standard valve angles, while the SCJ's had the revised valve angles.

I have a set of the A429 heads that you are looking for. They have been ported by Charlie Evans and have flow sheets. Please let me know if your interested. Thanks

A friend of mine named Norm has an excellent pair with up graded Manley valves , etc. I looked at the heads yesterday and they are VERY nice and low mile. He should be contacting you as I told him you were looking for a set.

I have these exact heads I'm in the Chicago area. . .I was just looking up information on my heads and came across your post I have Been wondering if I should sell them or not. I do not know what I would ask for them if I do sell . They are N.O.S. never assembled and bare, No port work or anything. I was actually trying to figure out if therse are the kasse revised version or not. And if I should have them ported or sell for a newer version. Anyway I have not posted much here just Been reading and learning so I suppose you could say I'm pretty much new around here although joined some years ago. Anyway I have not figured out how to private message you. But if you're interested and can P.M. me go ahead we can talk about them if you'd like too.
