TCI reverse manual tbrake vb issue
I built a full roller C6 beefed up to handle alot more power. I then installed a used but cleaned TCI reverse manual vb with a brake. When I went to the track and tested it last week, it would apply the brake at idle, but would jump 2-4 ft if I brought the rpm up to where I want to launch. Does anyone have an idea what the cause could be?
My primary trans has a Broader Performance tbrake vb and I haven't had any issues with it.
Thanks
Alan

essayist fix , that it out and set it on a concrete pad and take 12 lb sledge hammer and pound the piss out of it and throw it in the recycle bin !!!! it will save you 1000's of $

That is the plan. This trans is coming back out and the other one is going back in. Then the tci vb will become batting practice..

I know its an old post but when using a TCI VB you must plug the servo drain for it to work properly. Broader VB's this is not required. Not promoting TCI here.
I had a TCI build that I replaced the VB with a Broader piece but didnt open the servo drain. It shifted super hard and blew the servo o-ring. Once the drain was opened all went well.
TCI=Total Crap Inside
