I made a minor interior upgrade
First a made a pedestal mount to raise the shifter up a little higher and angled it back about 10*. This made it easier to reach the reverse lockout. I also moved the trans-brake button from the steering wheel to the shifter. I haven't been able to find a suitable lockout timer without having to buy a delay box, which I don't want, need, or can afford at this time. Next thing to tackle are the changes I'm going to do on the rear suspension to get this thing to stick better without having to kill a bunch hp.

Yep! If I'm not working on something I would go nuts.

Very nice work Mr. Rahn! If you run out of stuff to do, I'm sure you could figure out a couple of trick things to do on our car

Doug,
Have you checked with Turck for a timer? I've used their One Shot timers in industrial marine applications. I think they make a delay timer that may inhibit the brake for xxx seconds. The Time Cube is inserted between an 8-pin relay and base.

Looks great Doug! I am going to have to do something like that in my truck except I will be using a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter.

May have to use an ON DELAY that is triggered by the transbrake release to inhibit it from energizing again... Sounds weird, but that may just do it. One 8 pin relay would be the "inhibit" that is turned on/off by the transbrake release.
I'll have to draw it up to see if it makes sense. You could even wire up a small LED to show that the brake is "available"...
