this is going to hurt
the supply chain is already in trouble,so this is bad for hot rod parts and airplanes!
you would think the state could help with electricity cost to keep them open and running!

The manufacturing parts plants are closing all around the country for one reason or another.
If this worker shortage and inflation remains, it will get worse.

This is working out great for China!
Bring the USA to a grinding halt, make us totally reliant on an enemy country. Make sure we have no means of producing anything if a war should break out between us and China.

LoL. Lets run that war scenario with China, shall we? Anybody need medicine or medical supplies? Seriously I want to hear it. Need any electronic equipment, or computers or parts? Ever hear a top US General or politician discuss details. I think not, they are afraid of North Korea kicking back off, and avoid even talking about that. If Russia cut off oil to Europe then what? America better get it head out of it's ass pronto, if there's time left.

This United States of America was headed in the right direction but, that came to a screeching halt.

I thought that Fox article sounded like BS propaganda, high power costs, so I looked a little deeper.

This makes more sense to me. It's likely more msm covering FJB's ass, again.

So no one really knows if they will be offered to the public. Sounds like the "chip" shortage for the 2021 trucks. Sorry this post was intended for the post in engine tech about the engine blocks.

I guess I should have expounded more of my shot at your Fox News link and not countered my point with my long drawn out link of my own. For that I apologize, it was a shot at almost all media I have seen of late, not at you in any way.
My main point is your link at Fox seemed to imply that it was power cost in Kentucky. I clicked the highlighted part and it just went to a Fox pages with a bunch of other headlines not related to the cost of Kentucky power.
The link I provided was from April1 1, 2022.
It stated that the power supply in Europe was a big problem there because of the war.
It also said China and Russia are holding back aluminum base metal and scrap, for certain reasons be it sanctions, green policies plant closure for war reasons, ect.
It also mentioned many countries trying to get base metal and scrap at high prices and speculators sitting on theirs for highest bidders.
Maybe the plant in Kentucky closed because they could not get enough base product to justify staying open now?
Maybe they fibbed (lied by omission/lack of context) because one was a the union head and the other is a judge-executive (never heard that title before) and they don't want to piss off the current administration, other union members and advertises as to how bad thing are going now?
Are counties world wide hoarding critical war and other vital materials in case the war in Europe expands?
Last time I checked not long ago Russia was in control of the largest nuclear power plant in Europe that is in Ukraine, IEA bitching about access. If Russia reduces or diverts the plants output, can Europe divert their grid to Ukraine and if so how will that effect them? Yet no mention of that on American msm news. This is not acceptable journalism to me, as I see little to no mention of it on public access TV and often tucked away on internet news sights.

PS:2 It has also been reported Iran has 95ilbs of highly enriched uranium and is likely going to be nuclear armed very soon. Russia is critical in the Iran US/EU arms deal as they replenish the spent rods before they go to France for further enrichment and them for reuse. A certain country next door very likely to attack their nuclear program. So yes power problems in Europe now and maybe more on the way in the middle east.
