Broke main bearing cap

Has anyone seen a cap brake like this it's a 302 #4 cap

Lots of cast caps from all brands of engines do end-up like this ... I have seen many from engines having detonation issues to having way to much power, (cylinder pressure), for what they were meant to absorb.

Randy it had afr heads with my old cam out of my 69 in it. My nephew and I went through it at Christmas time while he was down. He is hell on vehicles it didn't last 3 weeks. I am in the process of building a 347 for it now for me. The guy at the machine shop that does my machine work, said he has seen that happen when someone would have it rev up and drop the clutch and it go to wheel hopping. The engine was in a 98 GT Mustang with a 5 speed with drag radials it hooks good.
