If it is done correctly then there is no bad issues with a reground camshaft.

That's What They (Cam Grinders) Say.
Paul and maybe/did Mike Jones (Cam King) mentioned not to get too carried away on Lift, and I Ass/Ume Duration, as Not to Cut Through the Cores Temper.
The 246/246 .588/.588 is Likely right on the Edge.
Since I and the Grinder Both are in Texas he made me a Great Deal.
Also NOTE These Will Have a Slightly Smaller Base Circle Then OEM. With a Non Adjustable Valvetrain You May Need Longer Pushrods.
^^^If The Block is Decked .005"-.010" in The Hole And/OR Heads Shaved/Milled They Might Be Just Right?...?
^^^^You May Need Shims By Then, Just Have to Put It Together and CHECK!
If someone put the One or Ones they Like on Their Watch List I Bet He Would do it (Make an Offer) for Them Also. Some of the Deal was About the Long Distance Out of State Shipping Cost. His Shipping is Very Low by the Way for a Heavy BBF Camshaft.
I Wanted to Pass This Along as Performance Camshafts or Getting so High and Hard to Come by for Other Budget Builders Like Myself.
Do as You Like, It's Just another Option, Is All.

Agreed. We've been using reground BB cams on and off for 25 years.
The OEM cam has a 113 LSA and it can only be moved a couple of degrees either way.
The largest cam we grind on them is 227 / 241 - 111
There is a thread on 460 dot com that outlines rockwell testing of various cam blanks, lifters and distributor gears here:

My cost on a new CWC Textron flat tappet blank has more than doubled in the last 3 years. For flat tappet blanks they are the only game in town.
Used to be manufactured in MI. Moved to Mexico in the 90's.

^ Thanks for The Link Scott.
The Blank For The Cam I got Has The Backwards BB in The Casting. Paul said that is an Old Ford Detroit Casting.
I Measured The Base Circle on The 246/246 .588"/.588" and It's Cut Quite a Bit. From The Base of The Lobe To The Core Measured .105" from The Top of The Core Base. A Stock 429 Cam was .195" and the Isky 270/221/.542"{With 1.75 Ratio Rockers} was .200" I compared it to.
I Did Not Measure All Three Core Diameters, So There's That Aspect in Play.
All Three(3) Cam Lobes where Measured on The Last Lobe in The Back of Engine Side, Using The Tail of a Caliper.
Not The Greatest of Measurment By Anymeans, Just a Quick Rudimary Comparison To Give a Little Idea as How They Compare and How Much May Have Been Cut To Get .588" Lift.
^ Center Cam Stock 429, Left Isky, Right TEXAS REGRIND.
You Can't See The BB Casting in The Regrind Picture but, It's There.
