Car barely budges in neutral?
So, it takes 4 people to push my 78 Cougar. I also have a 77 Cougar. It's a bit easier to push. Both have 385 series engines with C6 transmissions. 78 has 3.55s and the 77 has 2.47s.
With the wheels and drums off, I can BARELY rotate an axle shaft at the end by hand in Neutral. Under the car with it up in the air, rotating the driveshaft one way is easier than another. Am I worried about nothing? Nature of the beast?
