Re: my next project
It has one of our (Lem, Charlie, Jet Boat Bob) engines. The old engine was essentially it's a virtual twin to the engine Kristina Lawyer runs in her dragster. TFS A-460 heads, fully ported and flowed, TFS tunnel ram with twin Quick Fuel carbs, Comp Cam and roller lifters, W.W. Engineering shaft mounted rockers, FRPP A-460 block and a billet crank from Lem, Peterson wet-vac system, stock rebuilt Motorcraft distributor with one of my adapters and a Mallory 221 crab cap, (so it would fit under the tunnel ram) and dynoed.
Keep up the good work Dan Proud of ya'

Man, that pickup sure has come a long way from when I used to race George in that truck on Sat. nights @ US60 !
I heard one time that George drove that truck when he was in high school. (Mostly stock of course)

Re: my next project
Alan ,I'm not sure about George driving it when he was in school? I'll ask him today. I'm not putting much weight on the truck. The aluminum I'm using is .023. Had to make alot of bracing for support, but the braces are made from the .023 also, just long pieces with 2 breaks and roll beaded. I'm gonna weigh the wing when I take it off for paint. I don't think it'll go over 5 pounds??I'm going to put some kind of lift arms on it, I took a latch from a Mustang trunk with an electric popper, so when he hits the button it'll raise up unassisted.Made a great looking Ford Oval for the wing.
