Pickn up my short block builder tomorrow

My buddy and I caught one hell of a killer deal today, a pair of 460 short blocks for $75! I caught the guy as he was on his way to the scrapper and checked them out. One is out of a 72 Mercury wagon and the other is out of a 79 E350 van, one internally balanced the other externally. So far I have $285 into my build which includes a set of d0ve heads, Victor intake with 4500 carb pad, and my block and crank (and an extra set of "football" rods). I think I'm doing pretty well for a budget build so far

Cool deal! Is the Merc wagon gone already?

Probably, the guy got the motor to stick it in his van and ran it without rebuilding. I'll keep an eye out for anything that might be useful tomorrow when we pick up the motors.

good deal, there's still quite a few around we just have to be on the lookout.
