The blue looks good.
Blue is probably one of my top three colors to paint a Mustang. I would have a hard time choosing between either blue, black, or flat black.......flat black can be damn wicked if done right.

Hello everyone my name is Dan Bowers I'm from Advanced Chassis. Someone just sent me this thread, and there was so many nice comments about this car I thought I would write in a thank you. I can't tell you how nice it is to work with people like Andy and Chuck. They are some of the nicest people to work with I've come across in the 22 years we've been doing this. I see they haven't posted the pictures of the car finished so I won't ruin the suprise, but let me say they have built one beautiful Mustang. I'm sure they are home finishing up the final details to get the car ready to test, but will be posting the pictures soon.
If anyone is in the NW Ohio area we are having an open house and cruise in on June 19th and the Hornes said they may grace our show with there car, if anyone would like to see it. Thanks again......Dan

Re: 2010 TS mustang in the works
Thanks, but I can't take the credit for the car I've got a shop full of talented guys that take a lot of pride in their work. Since we only do what the customer asks us to do, the rest of the credit goes to the Hornes.
As for your car take your time, plan out the details, and the rest of the project will take care of itself. To me the tinkering is half the fun of racing.
If you need any advice or materials feel free to give us a call, we're always here to help.

Re: 2010 TS mustang in the works
We started it up last night and the thing fired right up. It was a huge sigh of relief. it looks like more rain this weekend so i guess we've got at least one more weekend before we really drive it.
Dan, We are still both in awe of how nice this thing turned out. The pictures truly don't do it justice. We haven't had a chance to get any pictures of it all together, we left the nose and the door in the trailer so we could get the motor running, so if you had the free time and wanted to post some picture we wouldn't mind at all.
Thanks again for everything and we'll probably see you next weekend.
Andy

Re: 2010 TS mustang in the works
I was finally able to get out of the car long enough to post some pictures. We are ready to hit the track other than the padding for the funny car cage and adjusting the fuel pressure, but we can do that easily in a couple hours. The big "obstacle" now will be finding time with the due date of our first child closing in. The wife is due june 29th and we are pretty sure she'll go any day here.
On to the pictures. These are from the day we picked it up at advanced chassis.

Re: 2010 TS mustang in the works
Well, the baby didn't show up yet so we made it out to the track last night. Let me preface this with saying friday nights at MCIR there are alot of street cars and it was pretty hot and very humid so the track wasn't at its best. made two easy trips down the track car went nice and straight, but even trying to roll into the power once i got to about 1/2 throttle it wanted to skate around. We tried on the 3rd run to launch it, but it made a hard and instant move to the right so i coasted the rest of the track. then we pack up and went home. all in all we accomplished everything we wanted to and we are ready to get some serious test done (probably at norwalk on the 9th of july)

You need to get someone to video your runs so we can see and hear it run.

my wife did get this one video, but it was just with her camera. next time will try to remember the video camera so the definition will be a little better.
