The fastest Ive seen is 8.54 @ 3320# Im sure there are tube deals that have been faster.

7.90's 598" c motor on a dragster
watched a guy a few years back do 8.70's with a flyweight bbf powered fox with DOVE-c head, can't tell all the detail and he wasnt talking.

Trick and Mansweto Racing. 1970 Ford Capri (English model) back halved, 604ci Pro filer heads 7.39 @ 186.04. No1 Pro Street N/A car in Australia. They are a good bit under 3000lb though.

Stephen I remember reading about your car in Extreme Fords after it was rebuilt, looks very nice
We run a 69 Capri up in Brisbane with a 502 bbf and have run 8.79 at 152 so far
the car is pointed at the wall, but the photo was taken before we adjusted the ladder bars, now it goes straight just hitting the tire to hard
