1967 Mercury Comet Caliente Convertible

Looking for a little guidance fellas, I have the chance to buy this car for $5000. I do like it but don't want to pay much more than it's worth. It's rust free except the rear footwells where water collected from the leaking top. Has new top,Complete brake system ,Dual Exhaust, Gas tank, Shocks and a recent tune up of the 289. The car does need a hood and a paint job. I realize it's only worth what I am willing to pay but Is $5000 a fair price for this car Or should I pass.

If it needs any parts other than what you've listed, they are almost impossible to find these days.Sounds like a decent buy.
