personally the 1.8 exhaust is a waste the port is not big enought to support that big of valve,

go to Scotty Johnsons sight and buy the port show how to self port heads http://www.reincarnation-automotive.com/ then he will show you where to touch and where not to touch.....

Your really asking a loaded question.... Depends on your ability as a porter, the quality of the parts and valve job...... What do they flow? How big of engine? How much compression? How much cam, carb? Intake? Headers???????

I agree with you Mr Dfree383, but what i'm asking is what others have done at home. this is just for my personal use and wanting to get some information.

An average home port job with 2.250" intake and 1.77" exhausts swill probably be around 300 intake CFM maximum and about 185 exhaust CFM maximum; a lot more depends upon the valve job than the actual porting, (as long as it is decent), to get air flow .
