Re: 6.7L numbers are out.
Adam can tell you all about the testing these go through. Pick his brain at the next Bash. The test trucks have been beat on HARD during testing....
The 7.3 was the last engine that International put out that was worth a shit. They screwed the 6.0 and 6.4. I think the Ford deal is well worth the effort and wait. I just can't afford a mortage to buy a new one.
And, BTW, I'm both a 7.3 and a 6.4 cheerleader. I have both. The 7.3 has 330,000 on it and needs some sticks and maybe an HPOP. It's been rode hard and put up wet. The 6.4 is smooth, powerful and will completely run circles around my 7.3 in bone stock, EPA choked form...

If you want some real world testing, we have an oilfield outfit down here that has a driver that flat puts a truck to the test...............Muddhopper oilfield....ask for Cotton..............I could make a career off of that guy.

12,000 miles or one year left on the "bumper-to-bumper" and three years or 75,000 on motor.
Has 24,000 miles on it, no problems . Ford replaced the inter-cooler and radiator under recalls.
Has every option Ford offered except moon roof or PTO.

Re: 6.7L numbers are out.
Josh, thats 12k left on the b-b warranty. It has 24k for mileage. Poppa Bear takes the wheels off the damn thing when he washes it!! You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner one at the DEALERSHIP!! Thats no joke by the way. We kinda have ocd when it comes to cleaning vehicles. He washes and waxes UNDER the mustang too. Oil changes probably every 2k miles and thats not a typo either. I'd buy it in a heartbeat but my financial advisor said its a little too cold to sleep in the back of it and she ain't buying me a topper!

Re: 6.7L numbers are out.
If I remember the engine still has the 100k warranty, and powertrain is 60k now.
The 2k oil changes on the 6.4 is a good thing, they really screw the oil up fast with the dpf and regen crap.

This 6.7 is one bad boy, the mains are big and thick with 6 bolts, I was very impressed in how in the Ford Engineering Group designed the complete engine, blown86hallet if you had any part of it great job In no way does it follow the Nav. engines. Jon you will love the injection and tubo set up, way easier to maintain, if you have too.
