If your really strapped you could try a ford racing 4.3 crank which uses the stock rods and dimond still carries the correct piston to match stock rods to a 4.3 crank. If you plan on making more than 600 hp though, i would get a kit.

if I am not sure but I thought they discontinued those pistons now they are customs orders....

its still on there catolog listing when i checked a few weeks ago. Part number and everything. But you may be right. Ill try and call em to see if they still have them on the shelf. could be good info for alot of budget stroker builders.

Good news and bad. Got a 460 crank already ground .010 and ready to run for cheap. I'm using the stock rods ground for strength, dad said "were not doing a stroker, maybe later on down the road". But my builder ordered the 15cc dish KB pistons, not the 22cc dish that he was supposed to order. So we might use those or get 25cc dish Diamond pistons.
