6/8-71 + Juice
Hey guys anyone using a 6 or 8-71 Blower with either a plate type or fogger N2O system
I am debating Bigger Stroker N/A motor + "Juice" or Smaller 6-71 Blown motor + "Juice".
I think a 505 setup for E-85 (.040 over 429-460 + 4.15 crank) <with a 1:1 driven 6-71 that would yield 6.1 lbs of boost> would be more than a match for a N/A 557 (.080 over 429-460 + 4.5 inch crank).
Then add 100-250 HP of N2O at mid-track.

blown/nitrous
It works well, most guys do it for the "intercooler" effect and only put a 50 shot to their blowers. Even at 505 cid I would opt for the 871, you can turn it slower and not create as much heat, and it leaves you with room to grow if you decide for more cubes later. Big nitrous and a blower will make huge power, and you will have the torque of a much larger engine. Good luck with that monster! Greg blown473 soon to be 514/521

High CR+Lower Boost+N2O
I know I can't be the only one thinking this,6-9 Lbs of boost with a 9.2-10.2:1 CR + a 100-200 Fogger V.S. a 7-8.5:1 CR and 8-12 LBs of boost.

I went to a turbo so I didn't have to lug those darn bottles around. So now I have two big a$$ ice coolers, what a trade off??
The intercooling effect as well as the added benefit or more power at the lower boost levels is pretty good IMO.

Intercoolers
They make a "Superchiller" Type Intercooler for Roots blowers.
I think a Water/Methanol setup plumbed into the Fogger would do better for the track and less boost for the street.
