Some racing results..............

I managed to get to the third round, pretty good since I have not used a delay box in over a year.

Real story is the results of the Kids Chevy p/u after swapping it to alky.

We never made any 1/4 mile runs when it was on gas, but right after we dynoed the motor and put it in the truck it ran some 8.42-8.44's in the 1/8th. Tonight after swapping an 800 converted to alky (Rupert), now mind you the air sucked tonight, low press system in place, the barometer was 29.45 which is real low for these parts, that and we had a 25 mph headwind. He went some 12.80's, 1/8 times were 8.0's..............thats a solid 4 tenths in the 1/8th with alky being the only change.

Truck is 4100#'s, 3.73 gear, 9.5-1 compression, 3500 converter..............383 deal with sorry vortec iron heads................it like the torque.

He went back out later and ran a 12.51 at 106 and change, flat gets it lol.

Third round ain't bad at all!!

That little truck sounds like a real cool package. Lots of fun!!
